UKWRA Chairman Lutz Johnen meeting with Lee Pitcher MP

Water is one of our most precious resources, yet the UK faces growing challenges in managing supply and demand.

Our Chairman, Lutz, recently met with Lee Pitcher MP to discuss the future of water reuse and the critical role it plays in tackling water shortages across the country.

With increasing pressure on our water systems due to climate change and population growth, sustainable solutions like water reuse are more important than ever. By recycling and reusing water efficiently, we can help secure a more resilient, environmentally friendly future while reducing waste and ensuring long term water security.

The meeting was really helpful as the Association is very keen to run a campaign about educating communities and businesses about the benefits of water reuse.

We are looking forward to working closely with Mr Pitcher and his team to help promote water sustainability at both local and national levels.

What can you do to help us?

We all have a role to play in conserving water and reducing waste. Whether it's through reusing greywater, investing in water efficient technology, or simply being aware of our daily water consumption, small changes can make a big difference.
