We work closely with a number of agencies, and we sit on a number of committees. These include the DWI, DEFRA, Future Homes Hub, Future Water and Wessex Water. We lobby and represent the industry in every way we can.

 

 

Influence National Policy and Regulation

 

As a full UK WRA member, your company will gain a direct voice in shaping the UK’s water reuse legislation, standards and guidance. The Association works closely with Defra, Ofwat, the Environment Agency, DLUHC, and industry bodies to ensure that members’ expertise informs future regulations. We also have held open days in UK and Welsh parliaments

Members contribute to the UK WRA’s aspiration of embedding water reuse into the UK’s water resilience strategy by 2030. The UK WRA leads the development of technical guidelines and design standards for greywater, rainwater and industrial reuse systems.
