Lutz and Neil, both members of the UK Water Reuse Association were in UK Parliament today presenting to an All Party Parliamentary Group on Water. This important forum brings together MP's, industry leaders, and policy experts to discuss the future of water policy in the UL. This is an issue that grows more urgent in the face of climate change, population growth and increasing pressure on water resources.

The UKWRA used this opportunity to highlight the essential role that water recycling and reuse must play in building a resilient and sustainable future for water. From greywater systems and rainwater harvesting in homes and commercial buildings, to industrial scale recycling for agriculture and manufacturing, water reuse is a proven and underutilised solution.

Our representatives joined other stakeholders in calling for:

  • Greater investment in water reuse infrastructure

  • Clearer national standards and regulations

  • Stronger support for innovation and uptake in both new developments and current projects
