Aquality Trading & Consulting is one of the longest established and leading suppliers of non-potable water systems, including rainwater and stormwater harvesting and greywater recycling, based in the UK with offices in France and Germany. With decades of in-house experience in this market, Aquality offers all necessary services from design and supply, to installation and operation of water reuse systems. Aquality works closely with MEP and civil engineers, sustainability consultants, mechanical and civil contractors as well as end users in both commercial and residential segments.
Aquality also offers advice on all aspects of water efficiency and water neutrality for developments of different sizes and types. Aquality devises holistic strategies allowing our clients to meet their objectives and provides support during the planning process.
The solutions cover different project types and include landmark buildings such as Bloomberg HQ, Westfield Shopping Centre and The Shard, as well as district type developments such as Southbank Place and Kings Cross in London and Clay Farm in Cambridge.
Aqualilty is a member of the UKWRA (UK Water Reuse Association), UKGBC (UK Green Building Council), FBR (German Rainwater Harvesting Association) and IFEP (Industriels Francais de l'Eau de Pluie). Aquality's Managing Director, Lutz Johnen, has over 25 years’ experience, is well respected in the industry and currently serves as the Chairman of the UK Water Reuse Association. He is a member of the steering committee of the OFWAT funded project Enabling Water Smart Communities. He chairs the committee on water reuse at the British Standard Institute and participated in the creation of the European Standards EN 16941-1 & 2 for rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
